Pure Motorsport/Bilstein Full Coilover Kit Clio 2RS

The Pure Motorsport/Bilstein B14 coilover kit is probably the best fixed rate damping coilover kit available on the market.  This particular kit has been developed by us in conjunction with Bilstein UK to offer a full front and rear coilover kit.

An upside-down monotube front strut gives great stability and strength to the front suspension that also features adjustable ride height. The rear coilover unit is an all aluminium body with a large range of ride hight adjustment.  The rear coilover features a spherical bearing bottom mount and can be used with the standard upper mounts - the sleeve provided preloads the standard mount more to maximise top mount stability.

This kit utilises double digressive damper pistons on front units that increase the bump and rebound damping at low piston speeds. This improves handling by reducing body roll but still providing passenger comfort when driving on rough roads.  

This Pure Motorsport/Bilstein B14 coilover kit  will fit the Renault Clio 2 RS models - the 172, 172 cup and 182 and will fit the Renault Clio 2 182 Cup RS models with 60mm front strut hole spacing.

This kit offers height adjustment and lowers 30-60mm on the front and rear.

Designed primarily as a suspension kit for use on circuit this is equally at home in a hillclimb/sprint or fast road car with the specification of appropriate rate springs.  We have developed a dual rate rear spring application as well that has been the mainstay of our Time Attack UK 2017 Clio 172 rear suspension.  The springs in this application have been a great addition to the car and the handling is absolutly fantastic.  The dual rate is approximately 275lb/in with a smooth progression into a 375lb/in when compressed.  This gives great progressive rate increase in compression and makes the dual rate spring a fantastic allrounder.
